POWER LIFE

The growing demand for electricity around the world calls for a wider range of renewable energies to supplement solar or wind power. Wave power is an option that presents fewer regional restrictions than any other energy source, as water covers 70% of the surface of the Earth. Today, the commercialization of wave energy has undeniably become a necessity.

INwave tm-05

THE LONG AWAITED BLUE ENERGY

INWave TM, INGINE’s own wave energy converter, is an innovative technology that effectively absorbs the energy of close-to-shore waves. INWave TM does not require expensive submarine cables as the power generation unit is installed on land, making it also very economical.

Demonstration plant
in Jeju Island

Our demonstration plant installed in Jeju Island has allowed us to conduct open sea research and development for INWave TM over the past few years. This enabled the innovative system to reach technology readiness level 7 (TRL 7), approaching the final stages before commercialization.
